We're looking for a highly skilled, full-time professional electronic security technician for the accomplishment of complex electronic security system preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
These are full-time, onsite positions at a government facility in Texarkana, Texas and are contingent upon contract award.
This position requires technical support for controlling physical access thereby protecting sensitive work-related activities, information, documentation, equipment, visitors, and Agency personnel in those controlled areas.
Description Provides support to field equipment in preventative and corrective maintenance of existing Lenel Access Control Systems and Bosch Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance systems.
Clearance Requirements Must have an active or be able to obtain a Public Trust and/or Secret clearance.
Minimum Education / Experience / Certification Requirements HS Diploma 5-8 Years of demonstrated electronic security experience.
Proficient in reading and capable of communicating effectively in English.
Qualified and trained to work on the LENEL, Morse Key Watchman, Bosch, or other associated systems/software.
Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic components.
Follow electrical schematics and technical manuals to perform repairs and installations.
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of electronic systems.
Test and calibrate electronic equipment to ensure accuracy and performance.
Provide technical support to customers and address their inquiries or concerns.
Desired Skillset NEC (National Electrical Code) knowledge Experience as a service technician for IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) or alarm system sales Knowledge of cabling techniques for data transmission or security systems installation Basic locksmithing skills for access control system installation Familiarity with system design principles for electronic equipment Job Type:
