- Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing patient care - Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of a licensed nurse - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients - Help patients with mobility and transfers - Set up and maintain patient rooms and equipment - Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment - Assist with sterile processing and distribution of supplies - Provide support to patients with special needs or behavioral health conditions Skills:
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and procedures - Familiarity with medical equipment, such as DME (Durable Medical Equipment) - Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (e.
g.
, eClinicalWorks, Cerner) - Ability to perform airway management techniques, such as suctioning and oxygen administration - Experience working with children or pediatric patients - Understanding of gastric lavage procedures for gastrointestinal emergencies - Ability to provide care for patients with behavioral health conditions or special needs Note:
